Unlike traditional
text only classified ads, our Classified Ads allow image uploads and dynamic
communication between the Seller and all potential Buyers. When listing
a Classified Ad, you enter your asking price for an item, the shipping
cost, and any information about the item or service you are selling. Leave
the price field blank if the ad is for a general announcement or something
other than an item with a selling price. We normally charge a flat rate
to create a Classified Ad. To promote the site and keep relevant content
fresh in order to increase AntiqueSpider's search engine ranking and authority,
classified ads are free.
- Ads must be suitable
for the site and must relate to the Antique, collectible, jewelry, decorative
arts, furniture, or must be relevant to the existing categories offered
for listing items for sale.
- Classified ads
must meet all of the terms and requirements outlined in the standard
listing's terms and requirements.
- Classified ads
for competitive auction sites are not allowed. Websites that offer items
for sale by a single company or user are permitted. Ads that link to
community sites, such as RubyLane, iOffer, eBay, 1stdibs, goantiques,
for example are not allowed.
- Site URLs in classified
ads are permitted if the URLs link to related industry sites in a broad
sense, such as sellers offering items in the range of categories we
offer listings in, furniture restoration, wood polishes, glass repair,
silversmiths, antique shows, want ads, appraisals offered, etc., etc,
are all permitted.
- Users that violate
the classified ad listing offered on AntiqueSpider will have their items
removed and their accounts suspended. Warnings may not be issued.
