Buyer Bob can make an offer to a Seller Sally by clicking on the 'Make An Offer' button. Bob will be able to enter in his offer amount along with a short message. Bob then clicks on 'Submit' to send the offer to the Sally.
When Bob makes an offer, he receives an email from AntiqueSpider confirming his sent offer. Bob may track all offers made to sellers in the 'My Account' section > under heading (3) Buying Controls > 'Offers'. This is where Bob may track the status of all offers he made, counter offers received by sellers, or declines, and acceptance. All correspondence from buyer to seller, and seller to buyer are sent to the emails of both parties as a back up and status reminder.

Sally may track and respond to offers from the 'My Account' section, under the 'Selling Controls' > heading (2) > on the left side of the page, > 'Offers'. link. Note: Bob is aware that making an offer contractually obligates him to complete the sale. He cannot back out of the sale at that point unless both parties agree to cancel the sale. If Bob does not complete the sale, he is subject to receive negative feedback from Sally. Multiple buyer infractions or complaints of this type may lead to Bob having his account suspended.

If Bob accepts the counter offer, Sally is contractually obligated to complete the sale. There is no backing out unless both parties agree to cancel the sale. If Sally Seller does not complete the sale, i.e., if she does not ship the item, she is subject to Bob's negative feedback. Multiple seller infractions or complaints of this type may lead to Sally having her account suspended.
